Grant finished his short basketball season playing for school. He was taller, by at least 8 inches, than anyone else on his team.
We interrupt dinner time for a quick dance session.
One of the strange photos I have found on my phone. It seems to have been highjacked.
Thursday was a beautiful April day with a bit of a blizzard on the side.
Do you like my child's choice of clothing on said blizzard day?
Funny thing is, the next day we were at a basketball party and we were discussing how our children dress for school on winter days. One mother said her son was wearing shorts when it was snowing on Thursday. When she questioned it he said, "Grant is wearing shorts today". I had to tell her that with child #4 I've just thrown up my hands and said, "Whatever". The same friend also ended up buying the same bright color orange shorts for basketball, just like Grant wears. (Its funny to see how he can be an example even when he doesn't realize it. His YM leader told us all the deacons really want to be Grant's friend, that he is a leader even with the older boys.)
Grant volunteered to be bathroom cleaner for Saturday chores. He decided to make sure everything was easily accessible. Unlike some of my children who enjoy chores so much that they stretch them out for hours, Grant likes to get to it immediately so he can move on with his day.
Jared informed me he needs a level to figure out which bottle is bigger. (How many 6 year olds even know the use of a level?)
More chicken coop building.
I think Joe's eyes are closed in this photo, but in most pictures he gives me a goofy smirk. I loved the smile in this one.
Jared wanted a picture of him posing like a koala bear.
Joe finished his arrow of light. One of the things holding us up was to demonstrate fire building and how to put it out. Since weather has not cooperated, we decided it didn't tell us to light the fire so he showed me the different ways to build a fire inside with popsicle sticks. (There is more than one way to skin a cat!!)
My phone was highjacked again, this is what I got this time.
