Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas.  We were all very excited to pick up Aunt Chris at the airport on Thursday.  The kids were so excited to see one of their favorite aunts.

For Christmas Eve we had a Bethlehem dinner.  I tried to come up with some items that were somewhat authentic to the region and time period.  Some were a hit and some not so much.  Then we turned off the lights and had a candle light dinner.

On Christmas Eve we open presents from Grandma and Grandpa Wills.  They are the traditional Christmas Eve jamies.  It creates great excitement throughout the house.

Modeling the new jamies.

After opening the jamies they talk us into opening the presents from each other.

Joe was extremely excited about the RC car Mark gave him.

Jared loves presents.

Jared had Mark for Christmas.  He knew exactly what to get Mark, a pillow pet.  He was so excited to have Mark open it he was jumping up and down while Mark ripped paper.  I had so much fun watching I forgot to take a picture until after the present was opened.

Christmas morning!

Grant was a bit excited about shoes.  Go figure.  :-)

Mark had been asking for a guitar for years.  This year we actually listened.  He has been having fun with it.

One of the best things they all got was Just Dance for the wii.  It is quite funny to watch them all play.

Some of the kids dance even when they are not officially playing.

Elaine had fun taking pictures of some of the faces made during the game.

It is always heart warming when you see your children having fun together.

  1. How fun!! Last year my siblings got Michael Jackson Dance for the Wii. I think we all had Thriller memorized by the end of break.
